Eva's Box

Random thoughts and images from a smutter.

"She turns her back on you; this, it would seem, is her appeal. She’s been painted like this for centuries, and, more recently, photographed. Often she is naked, in a bathroom or bedroom, solitary, sleeping or day-dreaming, or at a picnic, momentarily stilled, enveloped in a vague, dark space. The one constant is that her face is obscured. Her identity is fluid, nuanced; it can be elegiac, erotic or sullen, an homage to something lost or never quite gained, a study in both negation and yearning. It’s impossible to know whether she – who appears in so many guises – was ever, in the act of being represented, aware that someone was looking at her (the observed is often innocent of the observer). Whether we read the artist’s rejection of her face as a reflection of her inner life, or read the focus on her body as an indication of sensual preoccupations, she is ultimately irreducible and as such can be whoever we want to her to be."

Rough sex
What’s next?

Snot rocket
Bubble Yum
Light socket
You’re dumb

Pinky toes
Black Crowes
Bitch fit

Sidewalk crack
Rat race
Where the fuck was I at?

Oh yeah.

Midnight stars
Big tits
Old cars
You don’t have to like this

I’m fickle
So fuck you.

This may be the most perfect poem I ever read

I don’t know why people are afraid of lust. Then I can imagine that they are very afraid of me, for I have a great lust for everything. A lust for life, a lust for how the summer-heated street feels beneath my feet, a lust for the touch of another’s skin on my skin…a lust for everything. I even lust after cake. Yes, I am very lusty and very scary. C. JoyBell C. (via observando)
I stay cool, and dig all jive,
That’s the way I stay alive.
My motto,
as I live and learn,
Dig and be dug
In return.
Langston Hughes (via observando)

There are no kinks, fetishes, perversions, or even dark fantasies that make me even remotely as uncomfortable as writing even one sentence about what it is like being both a sexual being and a fat man.

It is strange, I have never been able to show that stuff to anyone.

America…just a nation of two hundred million used car salesmen with all the money we need to buy guns and no qualms about killing anybody else in the world who tries to make us uncomfortable. Hunter S. Thompson (via observando)
